Hopefully relatively senior former atlas pilots.

Wow.......it's worse than I thought. Bottom line if you are a regional pilot with a car payment, mortgage, family to feed and an education loan to service and you choose to come here you may well drown like many of our FO's are right now. I have also spoken with guys that are using up their savings and credit cards to stay afloat in the hope they can move on before they go under. That's a lot of induced stress and a shameful situation. I hope it changes sooner rather than later but my optimism has gone.

As a first year FO at Atlas your guarantee is $38,200. Period. If you were to get 15 hours of over guarantee a month (a large number in my opinion) you make $47,740. 25 hours a month (a pipe dream without VXing)? $54,100. The facts are that you probably won't crack $50K without tons of VXing and you won't be able to hold open time trips very often as a junior FO.

I just finished year 2. My results:

year 1 42k gross
year 2 87k gross

no vx, no outbase, no open time pick-up and I conflict bid all training and vacation.

Is this on the 74 or 76? Also, how many days at home did you average per month? Thanks for the info!

I wish...I don't know anyone there that could give me a rec. If I did, I'd certainly apply.

There are a ton more pilots already in the UPS pipeline.

Gotta be 74 as 76 pay second year is 84. And on the 76 between 12-14 days at home depending on how you can work the commute is what I have experienced.

I'm on the 747 and my bid seniority in ANC routinely gets me a DH on the front end as to not burn days off getting to work. I have never been extended (although they have tried but only a few times) and I have never burned a day off getting home. I average 15 days off a month. Never less than 14 and occasionally 16. When I bang in sick or conflict bid it can be more which drops me to min guarantee with R1's being stuck on the front or back but i'd rather be at home regardless.

pm me for more details.
