I've read the good, the bad and the ugly on here, just wondering what's going on?
They don't tell us anymore. The last 747 class was in July, that was supposed to be it for the year. The last 767 class was supposed to be mid-October, but apparently they added one in early November.

Like 742Dash said, things change here all the time.

Pretty standard for aviation. The only constant is change.

FYI
Atlas has suspended crew for two months, no pay for asking for coffee. They thought the delay was for coffe but the cargo was still being loaded created delay.
This should be an easy fight for the union but the company is taking hostages any way they can. And during that time you will be without pay and now a mark on your HR record that the next airline will be looking at.
Know before you go!

How was the delay coded? Was the crew dumb enough to say they were waiting on coffee, or did they say the cargo was being loaded yet somehow get blamed for drinking coffee?

There is no way any employer down the road will ever see anything of your Atlas HR file. Atlas can only confirm dates of employment and if you are or are not eligible for rehire. To say, or provide documentation of, anything additional is a violation of HR laws. Only other thing to be provided will be PRIA paperwork which is just training records. This goes for all employers. Just an FYI so people know how all that really works.

Actually the crew left the airplane and to get some coffee. Crew returned to the airplane BEFORE cargo loading was finished, but someone had an ax to grind and the crew was blamed for the delay. The real delay was cargo loading.

There were also words exchanged by the flight crew and ground staff.

2 lessons here;

1) The company is ****ed at the pilots and is going after anyone who they view as a problem

2) The ground crews will throw the pilots under the bus any chance they get.

Not anymore. They removed it from the GAM.
