you are correct gateway travel is not duty but that only applies to gateway travel to your base. Any other flying from your gateway is considered duty. so make sure you comply with the contract. if you have any questions or doubts call your union reps, they are more then happy to help.

Rumors of the end for the 747? No wonder there are rumors of 777s coming to Atlas...we may have no other choice in new freighters.

Did a Class of 8 new hires on the 747 start this past Monday? 7/8
777's are coming just not this year, the check airmen are being kept current on the 777.

I'm just sayin

A class did start on Monday. Four were new-hires and four were returning either from medical leave or Flight Engineers that came back as pilots.

Got question does anyone know if there is a new 767F coming because on Hawk on 7/25 there is an airplane slated to go CVG to ATL with N767-F as the airplane?

Generally, that just means that a specific aircraft (tail number) has not been assigned to that flight...
