I know I will get flamed for this but please just a quick question, without me trying to find my contract, can't find memory stick, dont know username/password and havent turned PCD on in 6 months... Does anyone know off the top of their head how much notice Atlas wants for a return from military leave? I will have to go back through some training and a PC. I know some airlines want 1 month notice, and of course the DOD has no money and orders take a while to publish, and theres always the possibility they will get cut short without much notice and don't want that to hurt me with the company. Even when orders aren't published yet I always let them know I plan on having follow on, so they don't schedule the sims. Thanks again...last question, I will find my contract.

We've been hearing for almost ten years now about how displeased the Germans are with Joe Hete, but obviously he is doing something they like, right?

I looked through the contract and in there it lists no requirement that I could see in the Military Leave section on how much notice must be given. I only looked at section 13 so if there is a secret side letter hopefully somebody on here knows. When in doubt, email the union. Welcome back...

I just returned from LTM in September, as far as I know there is no hard contractual period, just email the Chief Pilot, as soon as possible, let them know when you are available for recurrent training, and be flexible. DS will do her best to work with your timeframe, and if you are due, you will need to complete your online training before you show up in MIA. Welcome back

I understand that the hiring has slowed. But any one have any info as to when the hiring will pick up again? I am destined to Atlas, but only need to call to come in!

USERRA trumps any contract or company policy. After 1 to 30 days , eight hours of rest after completing military duty then back to work. 31 to 180 days, return to work 14 days after military service or as soon as possible. 181 days or more then up to 90 days after completing military service.

Notification to your employer must be verbal or written communication.

Subject Index This is an excellent resource sponsored by the Reserve Officer Association.

Wether it is at the cost of Atlas, I'm not sure. I'd venture a guess and say ABX will be the victim. And the race to the bottom will continue.
ABX to furlough 12 crew members.......again......still.......

Wow, didn't several of our 767 FOs recently go back to ABX? Sorry to hear this...
