Could be an email. Check your junk file as that’s where it appropriately belongs. You can also send the 914 calls to voicemail and delete it.

Allegiant is hiring.

You get high marks for consistency in responses.

Have you applied to Kalitta yet?

I received a call from that area code recently but no voicemail. I'm assuming it was from them however not certain. What does the phone call entail exactly if they do call back? I haven't received an email.

For those of you naive enough to think we'll have a new contract soon Atlas has just stood up our Negotiating Committee again. We aren't even in negotiations. This is the 2nd time that they stood us up and the last time they did this we went 15 months without any negotiations what so ever. The odds are that we'll resume negotiations in May of 2019.

What is their motivation to come to the table? If management at any airline can get away with kicking a contract down the road, its no surprise they would. As I understand it, the pilot group is banking on winning one of two lawsuits and attrition/new hire imbalance?

What is your guys next move?

This is just from a curious outsider looking in.

Clearly they have no motivation and its working! It's their ball and they can take it home anytime they want. Teamsters are along for the ride, unfortunately. The attrition/new hire balance is a weak strategy and it hasn't worked for us so far, so Im sure we'll keep amping up the enthusiasm. yippee. It does amaze me though why people still want to go to Atlas.

They're finally showing. We literally couldn't get a hold of them until after lunch. Last time they did that we didn't negotiate for 15 months. We have zero leverage so I wouldn't expect anything new for years.

As for the law suits.... Better to hold out than accept the concessions on work rules they're asking us to take.

Isn't the company required to negotiate in goo faith? How is not showing up/showing up late, good faith? If the company is not willing to negotiate should the union be released to self help?

Release comes from the NMB after a SIGNIFICANT time in NMB supervised negotiations. We haven’t even begun such!
