Atlas Air Hiring
Hey hey hey!
Plenty to see in Narita! The Cage?! Barge Inn!?
Honestly, to each their own, but I really like Narita. The rice fields surrounding the city are amazing for running. There are a few really good coffee shops. Several places I enjoy to eat at. Whisky is insanely cheap. The Temple is actually a very nice place to spend time. It's not Tokyo... and for that, I am thankful. However, if Tokyo is your jam, you can take the fast train direct to Shinjuku with a passport for like 1500Yen. There is a bus that comes back to all the hotels in Narita for 1000Yen.

The excitement will wear off in a couple of years, and then the reality of how underpaid and poorly treated you are will become clear. You will see your peers at other airlines exceeding your income by leaps and bounds as you slave away on the back side of the clock only to DH in a middle seat on Alaska on your 15:45 hour duty day...

As far as it getting old about hearing how bad it sucks.... if you don't work here yet, ask yourself why you are always hearing about how bad it sucks and if you know what you are going to be getting yourself into. If you do work here, just give it a little more time and you'll see for yourself.

Was recently introduced to the Jetlag Club across the highway. Cool bar, great place to hang out after a long day. One of the co-owners is American, the other guy is German I believe.

Applied for three years and never got a call.
Just saying that Narita ain’t all that bad. I’ve spent A LOT of time there. A lot.
Adding a happy face to the opinions of it is all.
And it is a really cool bar with lots of aviation related items. People have donated some of the things over the years.

HAHAHA. Are we down to hanging out at the jet lag being a good reason to apply? You will just get depressed there hearing the fedex and united pilots talking about the porsches and mansions they are buying while you can't pay the rent on a 2 bedroom ex-meth house in Cincinnati. Haha, with respect to the guys that own it, the jet lag is a dive bar that usually has a 20:1 male:female ratio, and that 1 female is usually on the staff. Really a blast, I'll tell ya'. Put some airplane crap on the walls and you'll get pilots to buy anything from you. Thinking about people justifying this place by mentioning that you get to hang out at the jet lag is just the most hilariously depressing thing I've heard in quite some time.
