Atlas will simply right size, out source, use ot, and any other means besides paying us a livable wage.

You see, we aren't like a fed, delta, or even a regional.

Atlas has the abilty to our source their entire operation. They are simply a holding company "much like starbucks or mcdonald's. Hence the name "aawwh"

if we can't fill a class, they simply make a call, have some rogue asian carrier move the freight, they make some and so does atlas. Still making a profit, and no need to hire more bodies.

A new hire today will never see -400 captain inside of 12 years. And possibly never see 767 captain inside of 6 years.

We have hired a ton of bodies in the last 4 years.

Be careful what you wish for. Flying around the world on min rest, or sitting r3 at the dirty dhl hub.

Gitty up.

100% exactly correct

What is the time frame to hold ONT? What kind of schedule can one expect out of ONT? Trying to figure if it’s worth taking the interview.

I will save you some time and effort, it is not worth it. Please don't allow yourself to be one of the hundreds of pilots hired at Atlas in the past few years that ignore all the warnings from Atlas pilots only to be disappointed and filled with regret after a few months at the new job.

Our contract is so weak, if you are ONT based on the 767, you won't be making any more money than you are making at Skywest and your ability to build flight time (if you are looking to do so) will be all but gone.

ONT only opened this summer and has about a quarter the pilots of CVG. Currently the junior FO is about one year but no telling how that will work out in the future. Fourteen to seventeen day lines, mostly one leg a day. Of course you would have to avoid getting the 400 with a three year seat lock and your first year in ANC.

As in you are gone from base/home for 14 to 17 days?

Yes, the company owns you for 17 days a month regardless of seniority. Anything less than 17 days a month at work is a gift.

All above correct. ONT is a small base. I'm still not even sure why we have it.

I could see them closing it brining all the flying back to CVG ( they are buying hotels anyway ) for efficiency reasons.

17 day lines, extendedable to 20.

I've lost over 200k coming to atlas leaving my senior Captain job at the regionals in the last 3 years.

No matter what CBA we get. After the loss of wages, and the delayed CBA. I'll never make it back. Career Killer. It's too bad. Had high hopes- "HR does a great job dangling that Bone End Rib eye"

BTW- you don't build flight time at Atlas. I have about 400 hours in 3 years on the 767.

We are slightly fat on the 767- so I could see the next few hire classes being on the -400 ANC

Gone from base 14 to 17 days. If you live in base you're good otherwise add about a .5-1.5 days to each end of the commute for gateway travel for time away from home.
