I know this is off this threads subject, but can anyone tell me how to look up a Delta Pilots name to see if they are still employed at Delta?? (He might be retired now- former Western). Is there an Email format I could try his name at? [email protected] (not his name if it ain't obvious) Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Thanks
On the righthand side there is a link for October 2010 Seniority list. This will open up a PDF file that you can search for his name if he's an active pilot. Nit sure about retirees.

9's going away + 90's coming online - RJ's coming offline (if that is included in the total, which it often but not always is) could equal a wide variety of numbers without anything we didn't already know happening.

Also understand who the audience is. Investors that want us to shrink not grow. They want to continually squeeze the customer in to higher fares. Sounds good on paper but the other carriers rarely play a long.

to clarify, the DC9's that are going away are the -30/40's, the -50's arent leaving yet. The majority of the reduction is with the RJ's

Heyas,
I agree that more newbies are great news, and I'd be the first to buy the beer and Popeye's at the welcome aboard meetings.
BUT I don't see any airframes to support that number, and we're another 2-3 years before the retirements kick in full force. Minus the new hires, we were probably getting pretty lean with the training churn, but 300 covers what we've lost in the last 2 years.
If we were getting the Saudia birds + 25 717s, er, maybe. If we were getting 10 747-400/330s/787s, maybe. But idling as we have been, I don't see it.
