Type in 737?
Anyone know how WN views an older Type? I got mine in 2006 and other stuff came up and I never interviewed at WN nor have flown a 737 since then.
I recall hearing something about they wanted a "recent" Type if you hadn't flown one. Just curious if someone knew. I don't get why it would be an issue but who knows.

No! I was hired without the type. You have 6 months to get it once hired and your "pool date" starts the day SWA has a copy of your type.

Wasn't going to run out and get the type, I'm just approaching decision time for the military and trying to look at all options. If I decide to get out, SWA is looking more and more like my top choice. However I don't know anyone there for a rec!
So basically you don't class up until you get your type (assuming they offer you the job)?
