From uspilot-

Fly with a remote sensing leader in the Northwest. Seeking Flight Operations Pilot to fly
single-pilot in company-owned Mooney aircraft and others to service customers’ requests
for remote sensing. The success of the business depends on safety, teamwork and the timely,
efficient and accurate gathering of data with a semi-automated fixed aerial platform.

A pilot for Eagle Digital Imaging works on-demand as determined by weather. The Pilot
interprets local and regional weather reports in order to determine acceptable flight
conditions. In flight, the Pilot also will be responsible for balancing the need for
conducting a safe flight while efficiently gathering data via camera. Flexibility and good
communication skills are a necessity, as it is the Pilot’s responsibility to help
troubleshoot camera and aircraft systems and report findings to management, maintenance and
other support staff. At times the Pilot may need to oversee the maintenance on aircraft and,
when time is available, participate in image processing. Aircraft are based in KCVO.

----Duties and Responsibilities ----
The primary duty and responsibility of the pilot is to correlate weather conditions, imaging
areas, safety and efficiency to make decisions of when it is appropriate to start and then
safely continue a flight. The pilot also must be able to perform the following tasks in their
job function: • Safe operating of aircraft • Keep track of imaging sites in the
database and their special contractual requirements • Have a working knowledge of aircraft
mechanics in order to effectively communicate aircraft squawks to maintenance personnel or
perform maintenance as defined in the FAR’s • Ability to keep detailed reports
• Skill in operating personal computer systems in the MS Windows environment
• Communicate all computer anomalies and assist with troubleshooting if necessary
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others • Be
open-minded to learning new skills and willing to share new ideas • Be able to travel
overnight;

Job starts in April for 6 months. Interviews start around March 1.

----Additional Responsibilities----

• When available, help expedite image processing by committing time to Processing.
• Responsibilities often require weekend and holiday availability Skills and
Specifications • Two years of college level education. • At least a Commercial
pilot’s license, instrument rating and second class medical. • 1000hrsTT, 200hrs
cross country, 20 actual inst. • 6 month full-time position, $2500/mnth • Ability to
safely fly a plane with less than 2 degrees bank and plus or minus 50 feet alt. for more than
ten minutes. • 1 yr. Professional Pilot experience required (CFI, aerial advertising,
towing, patrol, 135, etc) • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication
skills.
