I was told there would not be any new interviews through the HR dept till sometime in Oct. I guess that has already changed. I know they still have a bunch of people that have done phases 1 and 2 that could be used to fill remaining classes for the next couple of months.
Most people that have been getting calls have interviewed 2-4 other times. You are one of the few to get a call with nothing prior. I have been trying hard for several years but just cant seem to crack the code to get a chance. I sure wish I could get a chance to go through phase 1 so I could maybe get on the shorter list.
Good Luck!

Just curious, is that how they normally hire? Do u mean a multi-step interview or they literally give you 2-4 full, separate interviews over a long period of time? Is there anyone who got hired and started class after one good interview?

Hawaiian has hired from many different backgrounds; they like diversity in all respects....young with minimal experience, older with substantial experience, military, etc. Many classes have some of each background and experience. One thing new hires almost always have is a strong connection to the islands, and internal recommendations. Many grew up there, some went to school there, some have wives or husbands from there. Island living isn't for everyone, it has it's own culture...and commuting is not something that's likely to work out for most people. Not everyone will like living in the islands....it is expensive, and somewhat isolated. That said, Hawaiian represents one of the best opportunities out there. If you think it might be right for you, don't be afraid of the process. Many qualified applicants have been through all or portions of the process two or even three times before they're hired.
Best of luck everyone!
