FedEx application question

Could anyone print and post a .pdf of the FedEx application? I see that the preliminary screening on their online application site asks about run-ins with the law over the past 10 years, but I'm wondering how far the application goes? I had some run-ins over 25 years ago and am wondering if they will preclude me from a job. I don't want to spend $75 to find out that the application asks, "Have you EVER been arrested for ..."

FedEx does an extensive background check, and I'm afraid any run in with the law will knock you out of the running for now. Its a buyers market for FedEx and they are being ULTRA picky right now, because they can be. With over 10,000 qualified folks WITHOUT a criminal history, I'd say, save your 75 bucks.

There are questions about convicted of a crime, felony, ever arrested? Then, the standard character box where you fill in the details of a yes answer. If FedEx is your dream spend the $75 and say oh well. You're not going to get hired if you don't apply.

Thanks. So, just to be clear, the question(s) is(are) worded, "Have you EVER..."?

Not exactly sure what you're getting at, but the best advice I can possible give you is NEVER hide ANYTHING from an airline on a background check. Even if you think it's long gone, they can probably find it. Don't challenge them to. Disclose everything.

A couple of things I'm getting at. First, I agree 100% not to hide anything. Secondly, I think it's wrong to ask, "Have you EVER been arrested?" This country is built on the premise of innocent until proven guilty and having been arrested is in no way indicative of someone's guilt. In fact, many people have been arrested by overzealous cops and later had the charges dropped. This shouldn't preclude someone from getting a job. Although asking the question above and giving an honest answer SHOULDN'T preclude someone from getting a job, we all know how these things work.

So, my question WAS, does the application ask, "Have you EVER been arrested," or, does it ask, "Have you ever been convicted, found guilty, etc..?"

It doesn't ask that or anything close on Pilotcredentials.com for Fedex. I wouldn't sweat it because unless you have some heavy connections or some added cool points it is a long wait for them to call and even longer to go to training. It now also says you need FEX within 18 months if you are in a class that is going to have 727SO positions. Which I am guessing your connections would tell you if you have them.

It just gets better and better.
