Mesaba/Colgan hiring pool
 

I was wondering if anyone has heard anything about upcoming class dates for Colgan or Mesaba. I was hired into the pool earlier this month..

Been in the pool since June. I'm not planning on getting out at all but then again I don't meet colgans minimums. Everytime I call to check in, I get told that I will be in class very soon-playing this game for 4 months now...

Dang man. Well good luck. I do meet Colgan minimums but I don't know how much that helps right now.

Mega vacancy is closing early october. I'd assume you'd all get calls after it closes to fill deserted slaab slots. Then again my assumptions are usually wrong with anything colgan related.

Why is there a pool going? I thought they need a lot of people.

Looks like a good amount of new spots coming up, however it will all be Colgan Saabs. Next new hire class will be in November.

There is currently a realignment notice out that closes October 3. This will hopefully shuffle all pilots currently on property to their end state seats, or as close as their seniority can hold. After that closes the company with know what seats will be available for new hires and where. I would assume you would get more information after that. However this realignment will also keep the school houses churning until May so they may or may not have capacity for new hire training until then.

I think Pinnacle is doing the same thing. They just told me to wait around as well. Got dropped out of class 3 days before start.

Well nothing yet. I hope they figure it out soon. I'm anxious to put in my 2 weeks..
