Position Summary:
The pilot ensures that company aircraft operations are conducted safely and efficiently. S/he must be able fulfill the requirements specified by the company, the applicable Federal Aviation Regulations as well as the regulations of other governing authorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aircraft operations in a safe and efficient manner in compliance with the company schedule and in accordance with Federal, State and local regulations
- Maintain required pilot ad medical certificates and pass annual flight training proficiency checks as necessary for performance of assigned duties
- Determine appropriate courses of action to ensure safety of passengers and company property
- Study weather information in advance of flights to determine advisability of the flight
- Initiate any changes necessary for the start, delay, or cancellation of assigned flights, and for the deviation of a flight from its planned route or destination when operating conditions dictate
- Record aircraft flight reports personal flight logs at the highest standard
- Adhere to SMS requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education and/or work experience preferred
- Five years of aviation related experience
- A minimum of two years in an on-demand flight environment preferred
- Previous corporate flight experience preferred
- International Flight Operations experience preferred
- Falcon aircraft experience a plus
- 6,000 hours total flight time with appropriate jet experience
- Detailed knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations, air traffic control procedures and aircraft systems
- Must be qualified to assume command of a flight
- Ability to travel internationally, including valid passport
- Must maintain a first class medical certificate
