About the Job
Delta Private Jets is seeking a well-qualified professional who demonstrate a willingness to dedicate themselves to outstanding customer service and perform as a team player in Delta Private Jets' premier charter operations.
Must be typed in the Citation Jet 2 and/or Citation Jet 3.
What are the hiring standards for Delta Private Jets' pilots, and how do these qualifications compare with industry standards? Delta Private Jets' standards and experience requirements for all crew members exceed industry benchmarks and regulatory requirements.
Delta Private Jets SIC pilot requirements:
* Second in Command - 2,000 hours total time, 1,000 PIC, 200 hours multi-engine fixed wing, ATP, and First Class Medical
* Pilot applicants must reside in close proximity (within one hour) to a commercial airport with regular Delta Air Lines (and Delta Air Lines connection carriers) service.
* In addition to the above requirements, new pilot hires may be provided with recurrent training, as appropriate, through approved FAR Part 142 training centers, which will obligate them to a training agreement.
Qualified applicants will be pre-screened prior to a formal panel interview by staff and line pilots. Selected applicants will be required to be fingerprinted, drug tested and undergo thorough FAA and law enforcement background checks. Pilot candidates who are on furlough from a scheduled air carrier will have to relinquish their position prior to a hire date.
Candidates are expected to have some other non-aviation life experiences and education, possess outstanding interpersonal skills, and demonstrate an understanding of the importance of customer service.
Pilot candidates who meet the above competitive requirements and agree to Delta Private Jets' new-hire requirements are invited to submit an application online through our website, along with a cover letter, resume and their most current 8410 training document for consideration.
Thank you for considering joining Delta Private Jets' expanding and professional team.

All the CE525 series aircraft are single pilot as long as your type says CE525S. That is usually Part91 only though. I flew a CE525 under 135 and we were required to have an SIC. The job probably pays in the $40K range. It is an awesome plane to fly.

All CE525s are single-pilot CAPABLE but you can legally fly them single pilot (assuming the PIC has a CE525s type) OR with a crew. Part 91K/135, its whatever your OpSpecs say and just about everybody operates charter CJ2/3s as a crew.
As for DPJ, a search for "Seagrave" might give prospective employees a better idea what you're getting into.

So your logged time would be about as useless as being an FO for Cape Air? I remember their pitch that you can be a FO to earn towards your TT for an ATP. At the hiring minimums for Delta's Private, it would be (in my eyes) worthless considering everyone would be qualified to fly it single.
