Compass hiring
 

Hi everyone, this thread is aimed at any Compass pilots willing to take a few minutes to answer a question or two. This website as well as others states you guy's are hiring like most of all the airlines out there, but the info is 2 to 3 months old. There was a job fair down in Atlanta a few weeks ago, after that fair, is Compass still actually hiring or did you get more then enough folks after the fair? Also, does anyone know how many captains do you think you will lose when Delta starts hiring. Thanks to anyone is can take a minute or two to reply. Everyone have a great day!

Just had a vacancy for six fo's. I think 50-60 in the pool. It's a slow trickle until delta hires then 20/ month flow. Still hiring into pool I believe. Not everyone in the pool will come.

I wouldn't hold your breath.

Hiring into the pool last month with 70+ in there now. I heard that interviews have stopped for now since there seems to be no Delta hiring and less attrition than planned this year.

I'm number ten in the pool. They periodically send out emails to all in the pool, updating on classes (or lack of). Next update scheduled for mid April.

What are the bases for domiciles?

Is the pool ordered by interview date? Or performance score in the interview/hours?

What are the chances of getting a DTW base with compass? How Junior of a base is DTW?

Shouldn't be a problem, it usually goes slightly more junior. Most classes have some of each I believe. A quick look at the most recent seniority lists shows the 5 most junior FO's being in DTW.
