11900 Total, 2900 TPIC, 9700 Part 121. My app sat for at least 2 years before a reply. My lucky number finally came up I suppose.

I guess the pilot shortage is real.....:rolleyes:

I interned with Delta back in 1997 (a long time ago), but I don't think that was the ticket. By that reasoning I should have gotten a call a long time ago. I had 4 LOR from Delta pilots (all FO's). I added line-check airman 6 months ago. I never attended a career fair, nor did I harass the intern department. Perhaps being able to add check airman to the application finally gave me the push my application needed? I too was feeling discouraged as I watched less qualified applicants (experience wise) getting interviews at major airlines. I am very excited about this opportunity! I hope this is just the beginning for all of us. There are so many good pilots who have been waiting for so long.

What problems did they identify? I just got a DAL "fix your app" email today. It sited some gaps in my employment info, but I couldn't find any? Unless they literally mean gaps as short as a few days (I was trying to be accurate and left days for relocating and such between jobs), or even summer break after high school which I spent slacking off 13 years ago.

I readjusted everything so that there are 0 days between any job/education in hopes that closing these up will appease the computers. I'm not sure what was wrong or how to find out if I fixed it the way they'd like?!

Anyway, glad to see that i'm not the only one getting the email.
