I recently interviewed for Flexjet. As far as the sim ride goes, you can expect a normal takeoff and some basic attitude instrument flying. Climbs, turns and descents with speed changes. Then expect a turn to a VOR and given holding instructions. You may or may not enter the hold depending on whether or not you described the proper entry etc. After that, vectors for raw data ILS to full stop. Sim is then reset, takeoff again with a V1 cut runway heading to 3000. That is it in a nutshell. We had one of their pilots act as PNF since they know you won't know the airplane. Ask for anything you need. Sit in whichever seat you are most comfortable. Your choice.
As far as the interview itself, it was a panel interview. I had 5 people sitting in for mine at various levels of management. Very straightforward. Standard HR interview questions. Nothing technical. You will also be required to fill out a behavior assessment prior to your interview date. This is completed online.
My interview may have been different than the "off the street" guys. I was one on furlough who was called back. Hope this helps a little. Good luck!

Just a few questions. Did they say how long before contributions to 401k can be made?
Are you paid in new hire training?
What type of schedule can a new hire expect? 7/7?
What is the health care plan?
Is $309 the daily rate for a new hire?
Thanks in advance.

1. 401k contributions is either immediate or after one month. I cant remember. The match was something like dollar for dollar up to 6% and that increased based on longevity. Vesting period was 3 years minimum. All this may change with the sale. This was all under Bombardier.
2. You are paid for training.
3. Scheduling has changed since I was there last. It's a line bid system now. Don't know how it works yet, but basically you will end up with some sort of combination of 4 on, 3 off, 5 on, 3 off, or 6 on, 4 off each bid period. 16 day line maximum.
Options to bid lower or higher. 7/7 is something you can bid on but my understanding it is high seniority.
4. They use Aetna now. Again, with new parent company this may change.
5. $309 is daily rate
I'll try to answer any other questions you may have. I'll know more specifics myself when I start class.

Can anyone maybe answer a quick question, I saw today on WFFF,that Flexjet has a post for F\O's. Is this a automatic post? I find it hard to believe from what I have heard that they are having problems getting folk's to apply. I think this would be a great place to work!
