It is what it is, but it will be what you make of it.

Get based in a big city that you like. BOS, JFK, ORD, DFW, DEN, SEA. ect.
Find a crashpad in that city with people in it that you like.
Apply for every job that is better than the one you have.
Do not acquire anything that does not fit in your car.
Think of your roller board as your "Condo".
If it is exciting, go see it.
If it is thrilling, do it.
If it moves, F * * k it.

As for the Regional forums, the whiners are the silver spoon entitlement crowd. They would never have the stones to follow you down your path less traveled.

Hi everybody,

Thank you all so much for the feedback, insights and links. I really appreciate it! This "survey" was the last item to my full research.

I look forward to the move to the US and especially to the friendly people who live there! (the one thing I love about the US from my travels there previously).
