I have good friends there currently, if you can afford first year pay the QOL is worth it.

Awesome if you live here in MSP. Reserve time is runnning around 3-4 months. On reserve you will fly about 4-5 times a month. I know people that bid for reserve knowing that you dont fly much, dont mind the 2 hour call out and dont need the extra pay that a line gives you. Very often you will be notified about a trip the day before. Rarely do you get the hurry up and be here in 2 hours. Most lines after you get off reserve seem to be about 6 or so overnights a month with a mix of day turns and 2 or 3 day trips. The 4-5 day trips seem to go to the commuters. seems to be less than a year to hold day turns with 14-17 days off a month with the current growth, attrition and hiring we are doing. Hope that helps

Is Sun Country PFT or has it changed or do they require a training bond?

Any chance that Sun Country will loosen up on the "recommendation required". I'd like to apply but don't have that.

I'd have to say probably not. I know its not what you want to hear but with internal recs it makes sorting through the 4000 resumes much easier for the one HR employee to set up interviews. There are ways to get an interview but you have to be creative. Good luck.
