DFW Base

Well fellas......where do I try to go?

Looks like it's between ExpressJet & Eagle. Six one way, half a dozen the other?

XJT is probably your best bet. Eagle just turning down their latest contact proposal will most certainly cause some short/medium term pain. With that being said, you will initially be based in NYC, and it is unclear if there will be enough movement to get DFW.

Although I hear XJT is parking 50 sweaters in ernest, which is what they use in DFW. Tough call either way!

Thanks.....I see all those jets departing DFW everyday and it amazes me that Eagle pilots are having to put up with all this uncertainty. Not even sure Eagle is still interviewing.

Definitely agree with wagger81...no one I've talked to can even give me a straight answer as to if there will be an American Eagle in the not too distant future.

That's easy. American Eagle the brand will be alive and well! American Eagle the airline will be long gone. Now Envoy, who the heck knows?

This was posted to American Eagle's Pilot Recruitment Facebook Page only hours after the MEC rejected the AIP.

"American Eagle Airlines continues to recruit and hire pilots. To apply, visit Airline Applications.

If you have any questions, feel free to send them to [email protected]

We look forward to hearing from you!"
