Phoenix Air Group

Anyone have any data (other than website) on Phoenix Air Group? Hiring? Minimums? Pay?

They are heavy into DOD contracts. Used to be FLight INt'l... Lots of prior TACAIR/fighter pilots (turned my buddy away with over 4,500 hours because he didn't fly fighters). They are located in military towns/overseas and support the DOD. The pay isn't over the top, but a good gig if you can get in. Do you know someone there?... very helpful.

Pay is hourly with a monthly guarantee, quite a bit less than NetJets (sorry...no details). The military background rumor is not true. There's only a handful of prior service folks remaining. The flying is great, lots of international air ambulances to destination no one else will go, lots of crossing the Atlantic/Pacific in a Learjet, lots of flying the Lears with a 1000 pounds of gear hanging off your wings. Probably as close to military flying as you can get without having to get a haircut. QOL....just like any other on-call company. If you don't mind being glued to your cell and want to fly the Learjet to it's limits....this is the place for you. Not much room for upgrade as most all the Captains have been here a while and are pretty content. Lots of guys started flying here with barebone 250 hours. Come by Cartersville, work at the FBO, pump some gas, get to know some of the locals and that's how you get hired. Have a few airplanes out in SOCAL, two in Newport News, Virginia and the rest are basically based out of VPC, Cartersville, Georgia. Good luck...on a side note, we have lost about 80% of our co-pilots in the past 3 years as there is no room for upgrade, NONE.

Phantom, you are in my neck of the woods!

Do you know if Phoenix Air, or Flightworks has any plans of hiring Flight Attendants in the near future?
Local only. I know Flightworks has been hiring for other locations, but I want Kennesaw.
Thanks in advance!

Not quite sure as we only have a few airplanes that are big enough to carry enough folks to require a FA. And we have a couple of FAs and supplement them with office folks as required. I've talked to a few folks at FlightWorks.....seems like a GREAT organization. The DO has coffee at the Starbucks off Barrett Parkway every morning between 730 and 0800, he wears a leather jacket with FLIGHTWORKS lettering on it. Best of luck.
