I have heard the 70 people slated for interviews in Sept have been notified. Does anybody know how soon the invites for October go out?

Can anyone tell me how long it usually takes from submission of application to interview invite at JetBlue? Thanks.

Jason
It's not a simple answer. Unlike some carriers, jetBlue's computer ranks all applicants before each months call for interviews goes out. That means someone who is highly qualified might submit and get the call that month. Someone less qualified might have an app in 2-3 years and never get called. jetBlue doesn't use the "first in first called" approach so there is no way to give you an answer.

Hope this helps

Are people actually still going in with 1500 Turbine PIC knowing that they may go to the EMB? Just wondered since the pay on that is pretty bad.

Actually, the EMB190 classes have been filling very quickly. Upgrade in 12-14 months is pretty appealing. I'm in the first E190 class and we are scheduled to upgrade in June. Pretty sweet deal if you ask me. :D

Good deal! Where does JetBlue do the sim training for the E190?

Congratulations on the job. Would you mind sharing with us what your background is...ie mil/civ, hours flown, etc. Also if you know any basic background on the guys in your interview group would be nice. Thanks in advance.

Open and running in Orlando. All sims for A320 and E190. It's a great facility.
