$60,000 1st. Year Starting Salary, TURBINE
Yep, just wanted to let everyone know that Alpine Air is hiring. And it really is almost $60,000.00 annually. Not too shabby. Of course I cannot speak officially for the company, however I presently fly for them and with their sweet per diem it's pretty darn close to starting pay of $60k.
Our chief pilot's is a very cool and easy to get along with guy named Lance Bocquin. It is rare that somebody doesn't like this guy. So that's always a working plus. His cell number is: 406 672-0362. Oh, and they also do profit sharing which is another $500- $2,000 sweet bucks thrown our way every quarter. |
Per Diem is not and will never be...."salary".
So what is the Salary? |
Post real numbers please. It's not helpful to anyone unless real numbers are involved.
What is the salary? What is the per diem? and what is the schedule like? |
At quest, we pay 87k first year for a baron and pc12. That includes salary, perdiem, 401k, purchasing stock, bonus, cell phone.

Alpine Air used to be a pay to play company. Are they no longer doing that?

Some good questions, and since I can't, nor do I want to talk officially for the company... If you really want to know the exact details and not hear them from a third party, Ibso facto, me, then let your fingers doing the talking; get it straight from company, call the chief pilot. He is a real easy going guy. Straight forward, etc.
I've done my job in letting everybody know, now the rest is up to you. It's good money for the taking. His name is Lance Bocquin: (406) 672-0362. Good luck! |

Is it time for another pay-for-your job thread? They pay two hundred a day four days a week for a BE-1900, which is 41,000 a year. That's for their advertised Sioux Falls position. Their SIC training program pages for their web site disappeared. No longer a part, perhaps. I won't ask. I know. I know. Call the chief pilot. (no thanks) |

I'd imagine they are short on pilots, so the OP is factoring in with extra flying you'll be close to 60K on the BE-99, the -1900 clears 60. APC says 10 round trips per pay period (2 weeks I assume) which equates to flying 20 days per month = 42,700/year for the BE-99? Not rock star money, but considering what these jobs have paid historically I'd say it's a step in the right direction.
If you guys get a base in BOG, PTY, MNL, CEB, or BKK let me know and I'm interested! :D |
