I would caution going too aggressively to any large company without thinking your actions through and having enough money for a 6 month cushion.

Aviation is cyclical. With big hiring can come big firings down the road.

I've seen the good times come to a screeching halt overnight and then see a bloodbath of furloughing to follow.

In the very least, don't burn bridges.

a LOT of pilots with FAA licenses don't have a US passport or a green card...so their numbers don't count for US carriers.
