Default ANC Base seniority?

Just a quick question. How Junior is ANC? Could a new hire hold it straight out of training?

Thanks!

Most junior is 12/16.. so not attainable out of training. also keep in mind you will never fly on reserve up there...you might get 100 hours in a year

It's also not clear at this point what's going to happen with ANC long term, since the base has lost 40% of their flying, and there's been zero communication from management as to whether the flying will come back, or what the plan for the base up there is.

Out of curiosity, where does Horizon fly out of ANC?

Most of the ANC flying is just ANC-FAI turns, although they occasionally throw in Kodiak and Deadhorse (I think both of those are seasonal) for variety. As far as I know, there are no overnights, so it's all day trips up there.

Horizon no longer does Kodiak. It was seasonal during the winter but AS has announced that QX will no longer operate the route next winter. The Q400 is dead in AK after this summer or maybe untill they maybe bring the E175s to ANC. QX only does Fairbanks and Deadhorse. And Deadhorse is only a Mon-Fri route on the Q. Very limited flying.

Default Horizon Air - Holding GEG

Would anyone be able to tell me the most junior FO hire date for GEG and if it's attainable to hold that base out of training? Thanks!
