E175 Headset question
Does QX's E175 have the 5-pin XLR headset jack, or is it only the dual GA plug?

I would think twice about buying the 5-pin connector for airline flying. If that jack breaks, it’ll probably never get fixed. Since the company most likely keeps dual plug headsets in the cockpit, they’ll probably never fix the 5-pin.
Is that really a thing? Any of them placarded that you have seen? |
Just buy a 5pin to standard connecter just in case... $30...

Is that excessively bulky? I would be buying new, so I'd get my choice.

If you're buying new why not just get the standard plug? Don't over complicate it and it's one less adapter or cord to keep track of if you did need to get one.

5 pin XLR is the way to go. Never have to worry about batteries.
