Sounds like the decision is being made for you. Hiring freeze announced today.

Any idea what percentage reduction Skywest operating for Alaska will see? I’m guessing a much smaller reduction than Horizon, unfortunately.

Company E-mail from top management. The April schedule is already published, so any cancellations will occur on a day-to-day basis. The May schedule will be released in about a week. This will incorporate major schedule reductions. I also expect to see some reduced credit lines available for bidding.

With a 70% reduction in schedule expect a very large number of reduced credit lines available.

For perspective, at Alaska Airlines we will have 152 airplanes parked by April 15th. We will be left operating 87 airplanes...The last time this went down Horizon was not flying any jets for us and Skywest was operating a few CRJ 700’s for us....
