Was told this by a recruiter a few days ago:
"At this time we are not scheduling interviews and our classes are being filled with our pool. As soon as we have more information about our class plan and start interviewing, we will start reaching out."

Or is it more that it's challenging in relation to the E175?

The training footprint has improved a lot. I think part of it is it's a heavy airplane to fly, has a useless yaw damper, it's conventional barn door props make V1 cuts harder to fly. The flows are very long as well as the checklists. It's still very doable and a great experience

The last few months I tried getting a hold of recruitment for the purpose of asking for a Q400 date but alas. No response on that.

I wasn’t offered a Q400 position. Last fall we were told that sometime during Q1 there would be another class for the jet. We updated our information, whether we were still interested. In November they had a class but I figure those were people ahead of me or 121 prior pilots.
