Happy New Year QX'ers!
Revitalizing this topic. There was a similar thread already going, but it looked like the last response was from back before COVID when the Q's were still king. A lot's changed! I'm very curious about once people are meeting Pathways' advertised minimums of 6 months as captain at QX, they ”receive a class date at Alaska in order of seniority.“. So how far out is that going currently? Thanks all for your answers, and for your amazing service around the State of Alaska! |

I am curious about these same points, as well as what are some example causes that could “disqualify” you from the pathways program? I see on the Alaska website they say you can stay in the program until you get a class date at Alaska, withdraw yourself from the program, or become disqualified. Does anyone know the main point of whatever agreement I assume you get to sign to join the pathways program? I’d also be curious about what % of guys for every class are actually coming from QX as opposed to other places, especially OO |
