You know what is better than that? The Vancouver - Seattle flight at 3,000 - 6,000. Been so long since I have flown there I can't remember how we requested it, but we used to do it every so often. Vancouver was never confused and it had a great view.

Did YVR to PDX at 7,000ft...right down the heart of Puget Sound.

We went under a Bonanza at 7,500ft, passed him like he was standing still.

Never got to fly the 200, but I would have loved to flown it down the Oregon coast to North Bend from Portland.

I won't mention having to pull the power back to keep it under 250 KIAS when doing those flights...I'm sure on the 300 you have to run it wide open to get it close...lol

Are you with Piedmont?

Yeah I am. The 300 is nice...usually we can get 220-230 out of it at cruise (below 12,000)....gotta love slow descents though. 500-700 feet per minute at 60-70% usually gets us to the barber poll. Vmo for the 300 is only 242 from 0-17,000....232 at 20,000 and 214 at 25,000. It would be nice to go faster but I just remember I get paid by the hour.

I got to do North Bend in the 400 right before they discontinued the service, it was awesome to say the least.

Anyone else think it is kind of strange that once the TA was announced that all of the EXCO memebrs and negotiating committee are know where to be seen? A couple sources say that there should be a big announcement this week.

There are some livid people over on the teamsters board.

I heard too about a potentiality new crew base...no clue as to where though.

I can only get to the furloughed pilot board on teamsters

Dash! Hope you don't have CQ coming up soon! You might wanna check those numbers one more time before you take the written. (VMO -300 0-17,000) That was a question last month on my test.

For you Horizon guys who flew both the -200 and -400, does the -400 land any smoother than the -200? It's been my experience that the -300 seems to land smoother for me over the -100. They both take some work though!
