Hey everyone!
I am looking for a crashpad in Anchorage. I only need it for two and a half months. Mid March, all April and all May. I will not have a car while I am in Anchorage so I'll need something within walking distance or public transportation of the airport. Nothing fancy. Even a couch is appreciated. If anyone can point me in the right direction, I'd really appreciate it.
Thank you!

I don't have the contact info off the top of my head, but look at the bulletin boards in the crew rooms. There used to be a flyer up there that advertised a crashpad that was a 9-dollar taxi ride from the airport.

Hello Everyone
I have been out of flying for work 10 years taking care of family. My kids are grown and I am ready to go back
Looking to go to Horizon, not IFR current but working on it, but can't afford the 60 hrs of recent experience they list on the web site. I would like to make the transition this summer. Does anyone have any thoughts or ideas?
2700 total, 1500 Multi, 1600 Part 135, ATP written complete, 2 year degree

At the rate that we are hiring, they may interview you anyway. Doesn't hurt to apply... If not, fly jumpers for a couple months this summer (or some similar time building) I can't imagine you would have too much trouble finding something short term with your time.
