How long has it been a ghost town? I noticed the seniority list has once again shrank. At least 15 seniority numbers aren't out of GS or IOE yet. That's a 8 percent decrease so far since this time last year.

Any idea what the pilots lost vs. pilots hired each month is lately? Is the company keeping pace?

Currently have 620 pilots as of 1/30. We've been sitting around 655 for the last 2 years so we're short. It's stayed at 620 for the last 2 bids.

The list is shrinking, so no. The company is NOT keeping pace with attrition.

There's about ten or so FOs on the seniority list that have their permanent bid in for the E175 that CAN'T actually bid it because their equipment locked. I think once they realize that they'll be outta here too.

Equipment lock is 4 years.

Figure this is the best place to ask, what hotels around PDX have crew rates?

My friend interviewed and was hired today. He was one of 9 and most were given job offers, doesn't sound like they're hurting all that bad for applicants.
