I think 4.5 was to be a daily average. New LOA 4.2 will be a daily min. I'll take the daily min, but either would be an improvement.

Thanks for clearing that up. I agree that 4.2 daily min is much better than 4.5 daily average. A raise across the board is what we deserve.

8-10 is more like 4-5 that make it through training.
I think the 1-2 part is probably accurate, the 50% failure rate can't be real or else the FAA would take action...unless you have some sort of data i don't.

The next seniority list should be out within the next few days and we can see.

on that other topic:
it does seem unfair that existing FOs get both a raise and 15$ and captains only the bonus
ERJ seat lock doesn't really apply...You won't want to switch to the Q400 anyway until you're ready to upgrade, in which case the seat lock language doesn't apply.

If we grow 13 planes this year the upgrade times will go down significantly, ERJ FOs will become Q400 captains eventually. You won't upgrade in the jet here.

So what does a 8 year Q400 Captain stand to gain from this TA??? Better trip pay and a vote yes bonus?? No hourly wage increase....? No 401k increase...? Seems very, Give all the gains to someone that isn't even hired yet....

Still 8 year CBA, no flow, and no rig on the jet ? Hahaha. You guys vote all the FOs a bunch of money and see how this works out for you. LOL

Honest question: What do Captains expect will happen if the TA fails and the airline can't keep FO's or attract new FO's?

Having no min day credit on the jet is a pretty big loss. At least at Compass we have days where we only fly one leg under 4 hours. It's definitely nice to get that 4 hrs of pay anyway. It adds up.

Honest answer: CA or FO doesn't matter. Pass or Fail, what I expect to happen is the same as before this LOA. QX will either get flow through to AS or stapled to the bottom or nothing at all and be forced to fly for someone else when to many planes get parked and furloughs and downgrades happen.

There will always be FO's going to Horizon.. They have geographical advantage with people that want the PNW..
