Oh I see. Just never heard it describes as red , or a dot. And I'm not one of those "cyan not blue !" types.

InFlight Standards has been busy preparing the necessary information for the additional ERJ 175 aircraft we will be operating in the AS system soon. These aircraft will have slight differences in the cabin which will be communicated through an issued Alert Bulletin. All flight attendants should keep an eye out as information is distributed.

Earlier this week, during the middle of the day, I saw six (6) Q400s parked in front of the PDX Operations hangar. Plenty of spare aircraft to go around.
The PDX and SEA Ramp are looking thinner by the day with Q400s, and growing with SkyWest CRJ 200s and 700s, and E175.
From all I can pick up on regional chats on Airline Pilot Central, Horizon is close to being in the worst shape with cancellations, morale, retention and recruitment.
In discussions with pilots throughout the system, you'd think we'd all seen a ghost, very few are positive about working here. The training department is still stretched too thin and poorly compensated. The pilot's union is highly agitated from all the CBA violations and subsequent grievances piling up. The concessions we took for Commit To Compete were honored, but the company is backing out of their end of the bargain...what that means contractually I'm not sure, but perhaps another lawsuit should be filed.
On the plus side. We're doing a lot less shuttles. And at least it's a quick upgrade here!

Just talked to a SwyWest new hire, he said that three of his classmates came from Horizon. They had been at Horizon less than a year and had each written a check REFUNDING their bonuses to get out. One of them for $6,000. Low morale and a generally toxic atmosphere were the main reasons cited.
Some of you are kidding yourselves. Your house is burning down around you.
