Just another contract violation.

Thought I would compile a list of our current grievances. This is just what I know off the top of my head, if I'm missing some do tell and I'll add it too the list:

1. No reserve transparency (came with 2016 CBA, reserves should see where they are on the call out list)

2. Re-scheduling of line-holders off their trips to cover open time

3. Refusing to extend FDP is treated as a fatigue call (thus not paying pilot for cancelled legs)

4. "Operational Necessity" as a catch all to legitimize all actions by crew scheduling (only should cover Mx, weather events, undue atc delays)

5. Multiple intentional scheduling errors resulting in everyone working holidays in 2016 and seniority not being honored

6. Incentive bonuses to new hires outside of the CBA

7. Scaling tier of premium pay outside of the CBA.

8. No 4.2 min guarantee for Q400 drivers. (false advertisement on the hiring website and not honoring LOA amending CBA)

9. "Deferring" our jets to Skywest

10. Cancelling all open time (affects Long Call reserve)


I know there's a lot more, might make this it's own separate thread where I can update it (on a daily basis now it seems).

Flying that hasn't been covered yet, i.e. missing a CA or FO

The cancellation of open time is almost 700 flights in addition to our reduction of flying.

I feel like they are intentionally trying to destroy the airline now.

Do the jet pilots not get 4.2?

Nope. The jet credits way higher than the Q400 though.

No one is getting it right now though. It's been 6 months since the LOA was signed.

That makes sense. I was noticing some pretty nice trips on the jet side.

Frustrating that it has not been implemented yet.

That is what open-time means to me too but I thought it had to mean something else because that makes so little sense in my head.
