The Alaska System is getting 5 new airplanes between now and Feb 2018, 5 of those are addressed in the manuals about a different configuration. They were orginallyinteded for Horizon. SBP, BZN is back to OO. OO slowly gets the routes they once flew.

Whatever. Once we're back to full staffing in Feburary, AAG won't have that to hide behind. When the lawsuit is heard, and the documents the IBT requested to monitor compliance with the CBA are in hand, we'll get back on track.
The day-to-day "OO got this route back! WTF!" stuff is a mere distraction from the strategic victory we are due.
Classes ARE filling up. The lawsuit WILL be successful. It's just a matter of time.

Here it is folks and prospective QX candidates! Having a few AS pilots in management here is not going to solve much. I cant say for sure what its going to take, but no matter how you look at it, the future for QX isnt so bright. Whether its parking more Q400's or giving more 175's to OO, thats not a good thing. I predict its going to take years to get this place back on track. And good luck if youre coming here just for the BOI/GEG/MFR bases.

According to company, we haven't had a single day of cancellation in a week now so clearly we've found where we currently stand staffing wise and can rebuild from here.

Yes. We've recently replaced several top managers, all formerly Alaska air group, some are Alpa seniority pilots. Kind of tips their hand that they are serious about getting the wings level here.
I can't predict they future, but management has taken steps indicative of wanting to see us succeed. Right now our new VP flight ops is on record saying he expects a healthy airline by February. What that entails, he didn't specify, but I suspect we will see the retirement of Qs and consolidation of routes such that we are able to realistically able to staff AS feed as well as resume hiring / delivery of our E175.
Time will tell, but I still believe we will be fine. Contrary to my previous posts not recommending QX, I must admit that with the departure of the old VP flight ops, things are objectively better.

Horizon is in a hole that has been dug by systematic mis-management. SkyWest gobbled up all the E-175's while Horizon leadership licked the windows instead of investing in the company/work force. This problem was foreseeable. SkyWest is growing in these "challenging times" while QX is floundering. When applying to a major, pilots who are flying jets at "other regional" will be more competitive than a QX turbo-prop applicant.
I doubt that
