What's happening at Horizon and Jets?

The 200's are old and busted, but they were available. They have had MX reliability issues, but CAT III was never expected of them.

Problem is QX and AS are in an interesting showdown. And the frequent flyers are bailing. Lots of MVP Golds & 75ks now avoiding flying on Horizon until things stabilize. Even today, in another forum, almost a line of QX flying was reduced in March/April.
I get the union lawsuit. But I think the pilots & QX need to have a 'coming to god' talk and fix things. Alaska needs growth, and QX isn't quite in the position to provide it, due to a number of issues. AS should be able to work with QX pilots to keep them happy.
Otherwise, I can see AAG selling QX to the likes of Republic or Trans States and ridding themselves of the drama. Which, yes, is partly on them. But mostly on the QX leadership team.

As with a lot of things in life: follow the money. Who do you think controls what happens at QX?

I am part of a handful of Island Air pilots (displaced from our shutdown on Nov 10) scheduled to start class at QX on Jan 29. During the recruitment phase, we were told to expect the Q400. Recently, we have been informed that it will be for the E-175 only and that Q classes would not happen until March or much later. (QX has made 3 recruitment trips to Hawaii in the last 4 weeks!)
(yes I have sifted through the various websites and forum, and have a general understanding of the situation at QX. Past and present.)
SEA is currently the only E-175 base? I hear PAE is in the plans... co-domicile being so close?
What is the minimum days off per month/bid?
Are we able to drop X amount of reserve days?
Seatlock- some of us were captains at WP and naturally have the required time to upgrade. Starting as an E-Jet FO, can we bid for the Q upgrade and be awarded when seniority holds it? Or is there a minimum seatlock duration when initially arriving on property? Or seatlock when changing aircraft? A friend there says the junior Q CA is a February DOH and trending to get more junior. Also I thought I read a recent post of the vacancy awards showing the E-Jet CA falling to just over a year. And predicted/speculated to fall further.
Any other crystal ball predictions are appreciated- E-Jet relacing Qs, new bases/expansion further south?...

I'll answer what I know.
-SEA is the only current base with PDX being "satellite" Ejet base.
-No rumors I heard of any other base at the moment.
-Several Cpatain who I spoke to recently all had no idea of near future fleet plan.
-We have 10 jets and as of November close to 90 Ejet FO(including those in training). So unless we have big attrition in the jet soon or add more jets, we have plenty of pilots for 10 planes that we have. Matter of fact, many I spoke to are looking to pickup open trips...but there are slim to none to be had.
