What's happening at Horizon and Jets?

If there is ANYTHING about the Q to E-jet conversion that has really been thought through it isn’t readily apparent to a lot of us.

Yep. If you come to a Horizon and upgrade right away, you will be junior for a long time on reserve. Hitting that 2000TT at QX will take years, I’m guessing more than 4

It will take at least 4-5 years to get 1000 PIC here.

The 1000pic isn’t the worst part of that, the 2000TT at Horizon will be the hard part, there are FO’s on the Q right now that are doing their first CQ sub 300 hours. There are pilots who came here and upgraded right away doing their first CQ’s sub 300 hours.

There's also no way they will be able to staff 50% of AS classes with Qx'ers with this requirement...Literally anyone who doesn't already have a class date on the list (except for the Q3 eligible pilots) does not have 1k PIC here. Guarantee it.

This decision does seem shortsighted as far as recruiting new pilots (with prior experience) goes. I remember a few years back it was common knowledge that if your sights were set at AS going to QX was a bad idea. The first version of the pathway seemed to fixed that. Now, it looks like with a modified version QX is going backwards. What’s next?
