And while that is definitely concerning, what is most concerning right now is the terms of getting the bonus have now changed. Before it was bonus in early Feb, now it's bonus if the jet order is approved.

That is, if they actually place an order on the 9th...

If they don't order them, 50 percent of the pilots will be gone this time next year. Next week is the week Alaska decides if it wants QX pilots to bail.

Is there really a chance AAG may not actually order these jets for QX?

Wow...all of that sad contract concession silliness would be for not. And then stuck with lovely PBS and 1.5% raises all in the mighty Q for the next 8 years. Nice.

If we don't get the jets the contract doesn't change, but we will shutdown anyway so it doesn't matter. I'd say it's highly unlikely were not getting the flying after passing it. Im sure the company had a hard line it wouldn't negotiate past if they knew the BOD would outright say no.

Skywest today told investors they have not been in talks with Alaska.

I suggest taking a look at the skywest 4Q 2015 earnings call transcript. Find the Q&A on Alaska.... I take it as additional proof that the playbook move of carrot/stick of dangling new airplanes for a questionable contract is just a smoke-screen.
