We were informed today that the lack of staffing has resulted in two Q400's being parked starting in February, which also resulted in an upgrade class being cut in half, and pushed back a month.
QX management has said absolutely nothing about our inability to staff the airline, so the addition of parking airplanes to our existing lousy pay and schedules should be more than enough to convince people to stop applying here.

I don't believe they are being sent to the desert, they are simply having them sit there un-crewed costing thousands a day just to spite us.
