What's happening at Horizon and Jets?

I've heard through the grapevine that 2019 classes are being filled? For those who are in the pool, have you heard anything?
I'm applying this week along with some other regionals and wondering how quickly I would be sent to training. Looks like I may have to get a part time job to bridge the gap this winter.

I interviewed in September. They sent us study material, flows limitations etc...but no class date yet.

Horizon class dates
Like all the other companies out there, QX recruiters are focused on future hires and not on the pilot pool. If you haven't heard back, then I'd suggest contacting training scheduling directly. The great news is that there's plenty of movement at Horizon. We have a flow that is actively picking up 50% of Alaska's openings (at least for the time being), and we're hiring for the jets that should be on the property in the next few months. Nothing like flying a jet that was delivered yesterday.
Feel free to all of this with a grain of salt. Although I'm not a recruiter/manager (I'm a line pilot on the E175), it's always best to verify the gouge.

How senior are those CA transitions? Are they all SEA based? Or are any of them PDX based?

We all received a union alert today that management is now forwarding all Pilot Irregularity reports (safety related / abnormal events) to the FAA. These reports can and will be used for Enforcement Action upon your certificate.
The union asked why management was doing this and could not get a straight answer.
So much for the safety culture here.
