Any official information on the new SEA base chief? Saw a guy in the office this week, but it could be an intern working with April. Everyone knows how terrible the communication is from this company, so that could be her replacement. Looks straight out of college, so I'm sure he has at least 5,000 hours of 121 experience with tons of leadership positions in his prior career path to draw from.

Any feedback on a potential gap before starting up. I'm curious about how to work the timing for my transition this summer.

No need to post full names online here with hire dates IMO

So we're understaffed just like that? Seriously? BCP emails and calls from crew scheduling to cover ERJ flying. I know 11 jets have showed up in the last 60 days. Did we approve too many vacation weeks? Sick calls?

Hahaha. I dont know. But they sent out premium pay text to the Q400 pilots for a jet trip. Must be getting bad!

Default Update on class dates?

Hey so I am interviewing late January and wanted to see how far out class dates are looking right now on both aircraft types? Thanks!

A friend of mine interviewed this week and was told that his class date would be this summer sometime approximately six months out. He will be on the Q400.
I interviewed early September and start January 7. I am also on Q.

(3) Contact the union.

Especially (1)! The biggest problem our union volunteers have had during disciplinary hearings is trying to defend the pilot against stuff the pilot admitted to doing (or said he did). This isn’t college... management is NOT your friend.
Good advice here. I not at AAG either but if you file an ASAP then that’s where it ends, don’t file any other reports on the same event as that information will not be protected under the ASAP program.
