Currently Horizon is only hiring into the pilot development program, where you would apply if you don't meet the requirements for a first officer position yet. Otherwise they don't have their application system going for a direct FO position at this time.

As far as I know, Horizon is still taking applications. I talked to someone who helps out with new-hire interviews. Based on her comments, it appears that there won't be any classes for new hires until at least May 2023. Due to simulator availability and the number of instructors and check airmen, we can train no more than about 30 pilots a month. It will probably take 6-8 months to get all of the Q400 pilots trained in the E175.

I don't have an exact number, probably around 250-300. There are just over 200 active Q400 pilots still on our seniority list. I expect all of them to be trained in the E175 by about May 2023. As noted above, the bottleneck here is simulator availability and the number of instructors and line check airmen.
