You could probably make your own Q400 drinking game: On a 4 day trip you have to take a shot for every caution light you get. You also have to drink if you get "Check NAV source," or "FD Mode Inhibit" (alright alright, that's just to screw with the new guys).

What are you trying to do, kill everyone? Might as well make it every time someone has to call maintenance...

Also, your drinking game is a terrible idea, since we'd end up with our entire pilot group being hospitalized for alcohol poisoning within a week.

Are you sure you're not a Skywest Scooter (-200) driver? 'Cause that's exactly what my last few -200 trips have been like.

Still better than flying bid 291 or attending QX Factor kool-aid seminar :D

CHALLENGE MODE: Setting the parking brake counts as a caution light.

LOL only if you don't like the guy you're flying with!

Any reason to come to horizon as a new hire right now? I heard rumors of a sign on bonus sometime in the future?

Don't count on a signing bonus here anytime soon. It been a rumor for a year and a half.

Some funny comments here but you guys/gals really need to get your apps out. If it's as bad there as you make it out to be, it's really not that hard to escape QX land in today's airline hiring climate.

Beyond a specific location preference, why would anyone not seek a position with a regional providing a big sign-on bonus or a flow-through opportunity???? PDT, PSA, Eagle, Endeavor and Commutair come to mind.... There are many alternatives to Horizon.

Do they have any new hires going through classes? Seems like it's a tough gig at Horizon.

Yep got some new hires, not sure what they were promised? Sounds like they are paying for some peoples last little bit of training and asking for a 2 year contract. Look before you leap
