I'll be there. Already listed for my commute into JFK.

Oh the irony.....I'll be on one of our famous 10 hour island 3 days. No way to swap or drop.
Did they publish the event prior to bids closing for July? I don't remember seeing it or I would have bid off.
Wouldn't more people show if the ones who would definitely go had the chance to bid off for it?

I'll be coming in from BOS. Looking forward to it!

Correct, 6/23/17 was the first email we received about it. It was 3+weeks notice, but not before the bids came out. I am guessing there is an urgency to get this rally going to gauge the true support of the pilot group. If turnout is low for this rally then it means everyone is content and things will drag on indefinitely. If turnout is high, then we ratchet up the pressure. We are in the most critical time of the year for the company, if we scheduled this rally for September then it would lose all meaning.

Agreed. Not sure if I'm gonna bang out sick for it though. Maybe I should.

Just watch out for that "dependability review".

Don't bang out. I can guarantee there will be some CP toadie there scouting names. Make no mistake about it. They will be taking inventory at the rally.
We got you covered, just cover the guys that can't make it to the next rally or picket event. Thats unity.
