What happened?
 

Most of you guys blasted me when I said we wouldn't have a contract by the end of the summer/year. I was just being "negative" and "didn't understand the process" and "wasn't supporting our negotiating committee (ha!)" and "wasn't reading my negotiating updates" and "stuff".

Can't say you weren't told this was going to happen. Am I happy? No. Am I gloating? No. But you should have listened.

Oh get over yourself. No one knew for sure the point at which the company would pump the brakes and the mediation card would be played (nor by which side first) but most knew it would happen at some point. It usually does. The speculation that it was when financial issues came to a head was shared by most. There still is a chance an AIP can be achieved this year. Mediation could take 3 months. It could take 23 months. Or more. There are very few people who actually know both sides' actual end game and how far apart they actually are on each issue. It's a game of chess. The company is good at it and is very calculating. Our guys are good too imo and are carefully planning each move.

What is the point of this post?

The beauty of the OP's position is, if we get a TA nobody really cares what he posted, all is good. If not he somehow thinks "he knew it!" It's really win win.
Contracts are a long struggle, after today's event I feel better than I did last week.

The message I got today was that we're in a perfect position to get what we deserve, with time and unity we will prevail.

Interestingly enough, it's the same mantra when training a dog: patience, perseverance, consistency. :p

The point is we could have all been pulling in the same direction instead of most of you being lulled into passive positivity.

And judging by the responses here you guys are forgetting just how forcefully you pushed back against me when I told you this was going to come to a screeching halt without a TA. THAT'S the reason for the post.

C'mon man, grow up! This is doing absolutely nothing for our cause. It's not the fact the your were right/wrong, it's the fact that you come across like a complete a$$. I would suggest erasing this thread and to refrain from starting others similar to this (if you were at the rally you would know this).
