How did you know GIS sent your stuff in? I called them today one woman said my background was done July 1?!? But I also haven't gotten a compliance test email? Who knows...

I called in to check status and they told me it had been sent over. I then asked for a copy of the report and they transferred me to another dept who then sent me a copy via e-mail.

They may have told you it was done July 1, but the report will confirm what day it was actually completed/sent.

Any May interviews get a welcome to the pool yet ?

Also interested to hear what kind of quals the May interviewees had.
Total time? 121 or 135 background? Job fair attended? Any failed check rides?

If you have to ask, chances are you don't have enough.

I can't speak for May, but the folks I interviewed with in March for the most part had 5,000+TT and those were mostly 121 guys.

A buddy of mine who was 4/26 interview just got the call today for Sept 27th.

and some 5/17 guys are getting the Oct 25th class...Maybe Nov for us?

How long it takes to hear something after the face to face interview?

It can be anywhere from 1 day to a full week. I heard back the following Monday so it was a pretty intense short wait to hear back haha

How long took your background check to be finalized? I just got my GIS email few days ago to start doing my background check. Do they call you if they have to ask any questions or if they can't reach someone from your previous employer?

Make sure you call them for everything and everything. Call them everyday. When they say did something hang up and call back and check with somebody else. Trust me, very few people at GIS have any idea what the're doing. I pretty much walked them through the whole process. Good luck !?

Sterling wasn't any better. Had a former employer call me and tell me some of the docs weren't correct and needed them sent again. It was like pulling teeth to get sterling to do it, frustrating process for me..just stay on top of it and if stuff stops progressing keep calling

Thank you! Yeah i got a bunch of pdf to sign and fax everything because they don’t want any email with documents. Will see what’s the next email that I’ll get from them!
