Video interview
#5
If anyone has completed the video interview within the past few days please elaborate on your experience. Any suggestions if you had to do it again? I'm out of town for the holiday weekend and don't really want to attack this on an iPad. Any info is helpful. I heard that FA's use this so maybe I'll find something online that sheds some light. Thanks-

First there was a phone screen to verify flight times and ensure no skeletons (hard to fail). Then they upped the ante and made it a phone mini-interview (some people didn't get real interviews out of this so it was a screening of sorts). Now the video interview takes it one step further, with the goal of weeding out people before flying them (and interviewers) to MCO/NY and wasting time/money. Basically it is cheaper to vet people in a video interview than paying a lot of money to vet them for the first time in person. And with no more pins committee input on applicants, maybe that's a good thing.
