So the moral of the story is NETWORK. Our network SUCKS so bad. It's so stupidly centered on NYC and the east coast. They literally put all their eggs into one rotten basket. Our intrepid CEO and his management stooges live in their NYC slum and refuse to look beyond it. Imagine if we had more central US domiciles and networks that actually took people to places other than NYC...

I can think of another airline that did something similar.

I think it began with us and ended in error.
